Leaf Peeping

We're just about at peak fall color in the Tennessee Valley; I snapped this photo looking up the street yesterday afternoon.

DH took a vacation day today; we're going to do a bit of Christmas shopping while the young 'uns are in school, but we may do a little drive up the mountain...just to enjoy the color before its gone.

IOW, not much sewing today, either... ;)

  1. The sewing will be there when you return... Fall's show is short and you'll have to wait another 12 months to get it back.
    Enjoy the beauty!

  2. Enjoy your leaves! Ours are practically gone and we've got the "waste land hoping for snow soon" look.

  3. Yeah, it's pretty gloomy here, once the leaves are gone, too. Only we probably won't see any snow. And if we do...well, let's just say the kids are hoping for a little snow (it'd only take 1/2") so they can have an unplanned holiday... ;)
