I've only got a minute to post today, so the photos will have to tell the story...I'll get the review up on the Butterick top as soon as I can...

Anyway, here's the blue flannel Robin's Jacket and the 'muslin' of Butterick 5185

  1. I came to your blog from Lindsey's I think and saw a comment you posted there about Atlanta Expo. Would you mind sharing more info? I would love to find a good fabric store! I live close enough to get there sometime on a weekend - I've googled for Atlanta stores but don't think I've heard of Expo before. Thanks for any info you choose to share!

  3. Mary, the Atlanta Expo is actually a traveling sewing/quilting exposition that comes to the Atlanta area every year in early March. Several fabric vendors usually have booths at the Expo...notably Wool House, Louise Cutting, Emma Seabrooke and Vogue Fabrics. Here's the website: Atlanta Sewing And Quilting Exposition

  8. That blue knit top is fab! Thanks for your comment on my blog about the knit top. It looks great from the front, but the pattern doesn't match in the back. I don't know what happened there. But I am still going to wear it. Happy sewing!
