Eleven Years...and counting...

It was eleven years ago today that I logged on to share the journey of costuming 'The Gospel According to Scrooge'...and just kept going.

The sewing and blogging time have dramatically dropped in the time since then, but I love that I can still share sewing challenges and successes and the occasional Big Project.

I thought, 'Eleven years deserves a little celebration'...so I went to my pattern cabinet and pulled out a pattern to share.

It had to be one that was at least a little desirable, and, while this may be going into the wrong season, I think I found one.

Copyright 2007, here's a Vogue Adri wardrobe that ranges from size 6 to 14:
I have an Adri wardrobe pattern that's very similar to this; I really don't need two...at least, not at my current production level.  If someone is looking for a SWAP wardrobe pattern...to finish next spring and wear all summer...this might be a good choice.

So if you're interested in winning...and I'll send it anywhere...just leave a comment and let me know!  And if you've never commented before, say hi and let us know where you're from and how long you've been reading!  I'll draw a winner next weekend (Nov. 12)

Thanks for hanging with me for eleven years!  It's been fun!

  1. Happy Blogversary Lisa! It's been almost 10 years since I found you when I started this blog thing too! Unfortunately I no longer blog as much as I used to either *sigh*...I'm on the annual schedule, but hopefully with a recent job change I can improve on that! Here's to another 11 years!

    1. It's amazing, isn't it, how life changes? If I could just get my fabric purchasing scaled back to my fabric sewing...lol. Thanks for reading!

  2. Wow 11 years! I find it a great record of the sewing I have done, and really enjoy reading your blog. Don't enter me into the draw for the pattern though, as I am pretty sure I already have it!

    1. Thanks, Ruthie! The best thing about blogging is the folks it's connected me to! Love following your wardrobe adventures! Thanks for reading!

  3. Congrats on the 11 years! I figure a blog post once a month (or two... in my case three or four) is still a post! I'm always glad to read what's up with folks. I won a pattern (and got an extra) last time, so feel free to leave me out for other takers.

  4. Congratulations on 11 years! I didn't realize that you'd been blogging longer than I've been...that's amazing! Don't enter me in the drawing, I already own a copy. Hope you keep blogging because even though I don't leave a comment on every post, I am reading!

    1. We started really close; I may be a little longer but certainly not much! You're one of my inspirations and I'm really glad the blogsphere let us connect! Thanks so much for hanging with me all these years!

  5. Lisa - we met at the Atlanta Sewing Expo probably about 8 years ago and that's when I started reading your blog. I enjoy seeing what you are up to. That is a fabulous pattern. I made the jacket and skirt in linen many years ago, in a size that no longer fits. But I still have the pattern so don't enter me. I often look at it and think I need to make a new jacket, but haven't gotten to it yet. Maybe this year. ;) Lois K

    1. I have a top from my similar Adri wardrobe pattern that I made and love...such classic lines. But, wow, I didn't do such a good job of picking a pattern to give away...it looks like everyone already has this one! Maybe I need to sweeten the pot...lol...

  6. Hi! I'm a reader from New Zealand and though we lead very different lives with a different focus it seems that a joint love of sewing can bridge those gaps. I would love a copy of the pattern if I am successful. Congratulations on your blogging milestone.
