I loved both Chanel jackets and, of course, Carolyn's fabulous Simplicity jacket, but I didn't know of Busy Mom's brown jacket and Kay's Mrs Stylebook Jacket! Thank you for mentioning me and for introducing me to Busy Mom's and Kay's!Tanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01073735708031525696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18642968.post-73433123975968105072007-11-27T12:52:00.000-06:002007-11-27T12:52:00.000-06:00Actually, Carolyn, that FSG jacket is high up on m...Actually, Carolyn, that FSG jacket is high up on my list. Very high up on the list... ;)

But I have promised myself that I'll reach parity by 12-31, and I've still got about 25 yards left to sew up, so the take-it-slow-and-special jacket will likely have to wait until January.

But I'm thinkin', I'm thinkin'! ;)Lisa Lareehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11516986664460840579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18642968.post-8879291025691865742007-11-27T11:45:00.000-06:002007-11-27T11:45:00.000-06:00Lisa - thanks so much for putting me in the compan...Lisa - thanks so much for putting me in the company of these amazing women! I too am just blown away by the quality and types of jackets being sewn...the two Chanel jackets are soooo different but start from the same pattern, Tany's BWOF jacket and Kay's Ms. Stylebook jacket...what an amazing bounty of jacket riches!

I think you need to make one of your own...maybe using your NE1945 jacket pattern. I am sure you have a wonderful piece of fabric in "your collection" that would fit the bill and help with fabric parity!

Thanks again for the mention!Carolyn (Diary of a Sewing Fanatic)https://www.blogger.com/profile/02204627216540667980noreply@blogger.com
